Here is a sequence of photographs which I took at Lalbagh, Bangalore. Have put some of the pictures together to depict the sequence of fight of the Fish for its life and the fight of the Cormorant for its food....!!
Its all a part of Nature's play.. Survival of the fittest....!!

| Pic 3: The fish tries to escape by hitting its fins over the eyes of the Cormorant, as a result of which the cormorant releases the fish and thus the fish tries to escape. |

| Pic 4: The hard work of fish goes in vain and the Cormorant again catches the fish, it then tosses it up in the air so that it gets a good grip on the fish. |

| Pic 6: Still the Fish doesn't give up the hope.. It again tries to escape from the mouth of the Cormorant and its seen jumping in the water back again. |

| Pic 8: The Cormorant gets good hold on the fish and punctures the head portion of the fish (near eyes) with its strong beak. Blood flowing out of the fish is seen in the photograph. |
